Dr. Andrea S. Hayeck, DDS
Dr Andrea Hayeck has more than twenty years of experience in dentistry. She is a Licensed general dentist, fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr Hayeck enjoys working with children and families to make sure they maintain excellent dental health. She owns and operates two bi-lingual dental practices in Linden and Carteret (New Jersey). Dr Hayeck is a member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr Hayeck was born in Mexico City where she attended private Parochial School and High School. She attended the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico UNAM where she graduated with a degree in Dentistry in 1989. After doing her residency at the Hospital Infantil of Mexico, she opened a private practice in Mexico City.
Dr Hayeck decided to move to the United States to be with her husband Fred. She graduated from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 1993, obtaining the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Hayeck enjoys an active family life. She and Fred have two boys, Tony and Freddie.
Iwona Michalek, RDH
Iwona is our dental hygienist with 20 years of experience and she has worked with Dr. Hayeck since 2014. Iwona was born in Poland where she finished two years of biology at the University of Lodz. She moved to the US in 1988.
Her beloved brother, who was studying dentistry in Poland and could not finish due to a fatal illness, inspired her to pursue her career in dental hygiene. In 1996 she finished the dental hygiene program at New York City Technical College with honors. She was the recipient of the "Albert H. Stevenson Award" the highest honor for academic and clinical proficiency.
Iwona enjoys being a part of Dr. Hayeck's dental team. She is able to provide optimal care for her patients and her goal is to share her knowledge and experience with her patients. Outside of the practice, Iwona loves to spend time with her family, friends and her pets. She is married and has two wonderful sons: Norman and Olaf.
